"Sharing Knowledge Across the Mediterranean (5)" will take place this year in Jordan. for the first time in a Country East of the Mediterranean. Jordan has participated to our meetings of Trieste, Geneva and Chania where the problems of water management in the regional context were tackled, in particular with the Red-Dead project. I hosted in November 2008 the "EuroMed 2008" Water desalination conference organised by Miriam Balaban, member of our Scientific Committee, as well as the launch event of the EUMED CONNECT 2 extension of the GEANT network organised by DANTE where Robert Klapisch was invited as keynote speaker.

In November 2009, Mousa Mohsen, member of our Scientific Committee invited Robert Klapisch to speak at the"International Conference and Exhibition on Green Energies & Sustainability for Arid Region & Mediterranean Countries » (ICEGES)".
